Chances are copied as printed in the box's table on the MM2 Wiki. When the table repeats one figure next to every item of a rarity (for example 70% beside each Common), those figures add up to more than 100%, so they describe the rarity as a whole, not each item.
What to know about the 2018 Christmas Box
- One of the few seasonal boxes that opened only with its key.
- Shares its icon with the 2017 Christmas Box.
2018 Christmas Box guide
Few seasonal crates in MM2 opened with a key alone, and the 2018 Christmas Box was one of them: one spin cost 1 Snowflake Key, with no currency option. It belonged to Christmas Event 2018, its weapons were available only while that event ran, and they can now be obtained only through trading.
The wiki adds a detail about the artwork. The box reuses the icon of the 2017 Christmas Box, so the two look identical in the shop art even though they hold different weapons.
Contents
Twelve prizes, eight of them knives:
- Common: Coal (gun), Snowman, Santa and Wrapped (knives)
- Uncommon: Snowflake and Sweater (guns), Holly (knife)
- Rare: Icicles (knife) and Cane (gun)
- Legendary: the Ginger knife
- Godly: Gingerblade and Chroma Gingerblade
A Snowflake gun also appears in the 2022 Christmas Box, but under a different page name (Snowflake (Gun) there, Snowflake Gun (2018) here). Gingerblade and its Chroma version fill the Godly slot, and the footnote says the exact odds of those two are unknown.
