Badger guide
Badger sat in the common tier of the old Pet Box, which means a 60% chance shared with the other commons. The box was sold before Season 1 and is gone, so the pet now changes hands through trading.
The wiki says the pet represents the actual animal, with a mostly brown and whitish-brown coat, an open mouth that shows small white fangs, and a long pointed snout. The look comes from the Roblox gear Attack Honey Badger, which sold for 650 Robux.
Context in the box
A box that gave 60% commons, 25% uncommons and 10% rares was weighted towards the plain pets, so a pet like Badger would have been the typical result of opening one.
A discrepancy in the Pet Box text
The Pet Box article claims both that the box was removed with Season 1 and that it is on sale for 1,000 Coins. The 1,000 Coins figure matches the Common Egg. Badger's page is explicit that it is no longer obtainable except through trade, and this page follows it.

Where the wiki disagrees
These pages of the MM2 Wiki give different answers. Both are shown instead of picking one.
- Pet Box page: intro says the box was removed when Season 1 arrived, yet it also says the box is currently on sale in the shop for 1,000 Coins (that price matches the Common Egg that replaced it). The pet page says it is trading-only. Row follows the pet page.
