- All the eggs needed are legendary in rarity.
Chromatic guide
Three eggs were enough for this one. Chromatic, the knife, was a reward of the Easter Event 2023 egg hunt for anyone who collected the Office Egg, the Nuke Egg and the Nikilis Egg. According to the wiki, every egg needed is Legendary in rarity, unlike the gun version, whose list leans on developer eggs. The hunt is gone, and the knife is now a trading-only item.
Not a Chroma
Because the name begins with the same letters as the Chroma weapon tier, it is easy to file this knife in the wrong place. It is a Legendary weapon, and the wiki has no Chroma category for it.
Appearance
The spine of the blade is dark purple with a golden outline that separates it from the edge. The edge itself runs from deep purple through lime green to red, which is the chromatic effect behind the name. The guard is golden, and so is the pommel at the bottom of the handle. The handle is dark purple with a crosshatch pattern joined by golden beads.
Partner
A gun with the same name completes the pair, and IDontHaveAUse is credited as designer.

Where the wiki disagrees
These pages of the MM2 Wiki give different answers. Both are shown instead of picking one.
- Despite starting with 'Chroma', this is a legendary weapon, not a chroma (no Chroma category); chroma set to false.
