Egg Hunter โ In-Depth Analysis
The Egg Hunter is a playable class in 99 Nights in the Forest that was exclusive to the Easter event and costs only 30 eggs. It has no starter items. Instead, every perk is about handling Easter eggs: at level 1 you gain extra credit whenever you turn in an egg to the Evil Bunny, which makes each delivery worth more.
Level 2 unlocks after handing in 20 eggs to the Easter bunny and grants a speed boost for each egg currently in your basket, so a full basket lets you outrun dangerous situations. Level 3 needs 40 eggs handed in and highlights nearby eggs, which helps a lot in the dark. Because the requirements are small, the class levels up easily.
The wiki points out that this is not a combat class, so it is more vulnerable when playing solo and has nothing to defend itself with from the start. One tip listed is to carry 12 eggs in your basket before going after the Easter Bunny's egg, since the extra speed can help you survive. Recommended Talents include 10% reduced hunger drain at 1 star, a 25% chance to make a hearty stew at 2 stars and +2 sack space at 3 stars. The class disappeared once the Easter event ended.
