Tips & Strategy(6)

  • โ—The abilities of Medic are mostly team-based abilities and most of them won't affect solo gameplay.
  • โ—‹Five times faster revives makes reviving other players quickly which could help if they died near a strong enemy, like a Bear. However, this is not necessary as the player could just store the dead body in the sack and escape safely without having to risk their teammate dying again.
  • โ—‹Improved revive on others, along with restoring more health and hunger makes teammates get a subtle boost in health and hunger when revived compared to being revived by a non-Medic, the effect of this perk is rather insignificant.
  • โ—‹At the start of a run, while one of the Bandages are upgraded to a Medkit, the differences in reviving teammates are hardly noticeable, but during solo gameplay this can be helpful as the Medkit heals the player's health to full, whereas Bandages only heal around half of it.
  • โ—The main reason as to why this class is used is for the 2 Bandages that the player spawns with, it is not recommended to use these Bandages for healing in a team game, as Bandages are very rare to come across and they should only be used to revive others in a team game.
  • โ—For the levelling up requirements, Medic is a rather hard class to effectively optimize the levelling up process as it is heavily dependent on the world generation and teammates. However, if the player has another device or a willing friend to join the game, having the second player reset twice for both starting Bandages and r

Medic โ€” In-Depth Analysis

The Medic is one of the cheapest support picks at 40 Diamonds, and its identity is built entirely around keeping a team alive. You spawn with 2 Bandages, and the value of those two items alone is the real reason most players unlock this class. At Level 1 you revive teammates five times faster, which matters when someone goes down beside a Bear or wolf pack and seconds decide whether the squad survives.

Level 2 deepens the support angle: your revives restore more health and hunger than a normal player's pickup, giving downed teammates a meaningful cushion when they get back up. Level 3 quietly upgrades one of your Bandages into a Medkit, and that single change is what makes the class viable solo, since a Medkit heals to full while a Bandage only restores roughly half.

Pick the Medic if you play in coordinated groups and want to be the anchor who never lets a wipe happen. Treat your starting Bandages as revive insurance rather than self-heals in team runs, because they are genuinely scarce. Solo players get less from the team-focused perks, but the Level 3 Medkit still rewards a careful, low-risk style.
