The Grove is a Special-type structure added on November 15 for the Deer is Hurt Part I update, and it is one of the most story-driven spots in the game — though note it is now filed under the Removed category, so it belonged to a limited event arc rather than the permanent map. Its inhabitants are The Deer accompanied by two Alpha Wolves, framing it as a guarded encounter rather than a quiet loot run.

The reward fits the lore: the Grove yields a Broken Deer Antler and a Purple Fur Tuft, thematic drops tied directly to the wounded-Deer storyline rather than generic scrap. These are the kind of items you visit specifically to collect, not materials you stumble into.

The danger is concentrated in those two Alpha Wolves. Alphas hit harder and soak more damage than the common wolf, and facing a pair at once near the Deer means you must commit to a real fight before the antler and fur are yours. Bring a strong weapon and ideally a partner, focus the wolves down before looting, and approach only when you are ready for the event rather than passing through.
