Description
Ancient Beast is a Lv. 3000 Dungeon Raid Boss. The Ancient Beast is located on the 5th floor of a dungeon, typically being the first boss the player faces on any difficulty. He has 2 phases, similar to rip_indra True Form. In his first phase, he is a regular NPC who uses the M1s and abilities of T-Rex. When he reaches below around 30% Health, he goes into his second phase and transforms into a T-Rex and is able to use his transformed abilities.
Abilities
5Normal Attack
Ancient Beast constantly pressures the user with m1s throughout the fight.
Stay out of range, use Instinct.
Tail Swipe
Ancient Beast randomly launches a swipe of his tail towards the user. While transformed, the swipe is larger with more slashes
Try to stay out of range. The transformed slashes are only diagonal, the player can camp above the boss.
Predatory Screech
Ancient Beast charges in a conical crosshair in front of him, pulling player in, before throwing them away with a brutal screech. While transformed, this attack does much more damage, with a much larger hitbox
Try to stay out of range. If hit, the roar is instinct-trickable. Beware of the transformed version, as it will break Instinct.
Hunter's Rage
Ancient Beast quickly alligns himself to another player, charging for a moment, before dashing forwards with a barrage of slashes. When transformed, he instead lunges, smashing the user on the floor, and causing a 'nausea' effect.
Stay out of range. Both variants can be Instinct-tricked.
Gigantic Leap
Ancient Beast lunges down towards a player, getting closer.
Stay alert.
