He despawned after 9 minutes. When he spawned, the following system message "Pain takes form at the Colosseum." appeared. Agony revived as a Tormented Boss after he had low health, increasing his HP from 55,000 to 200,000. After he was defeated or time had passed, the message "Pain recedes." appeared.
- When in base form he will simply use the tap variation.

Agony — In-Depth Analysis
Agony is a Sea-Beast-class raid boss found lurking in the dark waters of the Third Sea. It spawns at level 2,100+ and carries roughly 1,800,000 HP, making it one of the sturdiest open-world threats available before entering the Tushita/True Triple-Katana quest chain. Its signature drops include the Tushita Sword (if the full Celestial Chain is triggered), Agony's Blessing accessory (~5% chance), and standard Fragments. The spawn timer runs roughly every 1–2 hours on a server reset cycle.
The fight is pure aggression management. Agony telegraphs its sweeping dark-beam attack with a 0.5-second wind-up — dodge backward or use blink the moment you see the purple glow. Dragon (Awakened) is the meta pick here: Dragon Talon locks the boss in a combo string long enough to chunk 20–30% HP per rotation. Venom works as a second option for continuous poison tick while you stay airborne. Bring at least one teammate to handle the healing phase where Agony regenerates 2% HP every 3 seconds if left uninterrupted.
For farming, Agony is primarily a Tushita-questline gate rather than a daily grind target. If you need the Agony's Blessing accessory (worth keeping for its stat bonuses in PvP), budget 15–20 kills minimum given the ~5% rate. Fragment yield is mediocre compared to Leviathan or raids, so don't camp it purely for economy — kill it when the quest demands it, then move on.
