Description

Ashen was a Lv. 3000 Raid Boss. Ashen spawned every 20 minutes during the Celebration Event, this spawn alternating between Agony and Ashen within the Grand Colosseum. He would despawn after 9 minutes. Ashen appeared with a group of Lightning Bandits when he spawned. Strangely, despite using the Lightning fruit, Ashen did not use any moves apart from the [Z] Lightning Orb, rather simply dashing around.

Abilities

1

Lightning Orb

Ashen shoots an orb toward the player.

Try to stay out of range, this move does low damage.

Combat Tips

Despite being a Raid Boss, Ashen is easier to kill than most enemies, his dashes only being mildly annoying at best. ==Gallery== File:TrailerAshen.png|Ashen was already seen in the official Blox Fruits Trailer here. Ashen Strategy & Best Use

Ashen Lord (also called Portgas in community shorthand) is the pinnacle boss of Magma Village's story arc, found in the Second Sea at level 1,000+. He commands around 425,000 HP and hits like a freight train with his Magma-V2 moveset — expect wide AOE lava pools that linger for several seconds. Drops include the Magma Cloth accessory (~5%), the Torch Fragment needed for certain awakening quests, and a reliable Bounty/Honor chunk. Respawn timer is 20–30 minutes.

The golden rule: never fight Ashen Lord at ground level. His lava pools cover 80% of the arena floor during Phase 2 — use Phoenix or Rumble to stay permanently airborne and rain damage from above. If you're a sword main, Shisui or Dark Blade give you enough range to attack from mid-air without descending into the lava. Steer clear of the arena walls where lava accumulates fastest; hover near the center-top of the room.

Farming Ashen Lord is efficient for mid-game Bounty grinding — each kill hands out a solid chunk of Bounty/Honor compared to regular mobs in the area. If you're chasing the Magma Cloth for the stat bonuses or flex, plan for 15–25 kills at ~5% odds. The 20–30 minute spawn is fast enough to make this a viable loop between other Second Sea objectives without sitting idle.
