Description

Phoenix is a Legendary Beast-type fruit that costs 1,800,000 Beli or 2,000 Robux. It lets you harness the power of the immortal firebird, combining blue and yellow flame attacks with a remarkable healing ability. Key moves include Regeneration Flames, which restores your health mid-fight, and the powerful awakened move Cremation Cannon, which unleashes a multi-projectile barrage. The fruit also allows full-body transformation into Phoenix form, granting 15% damage reduction and flight. Phoenix is fully awakenable for 18,500 Fragments, unlocking Blue Flames and the combo-starting Flame Exodus. In the meta Phoenix is celebrated for its support role — it can heal teammates during raids — and holds its own for grinding. Pure PvP performance is moderate, but its survivability and team utility make it uniquely valuable.

Moves & Abilities

11 moves
Moveset (V1)
Z
Cannon
Mastery 1

The user charges up a flaming blow and releases it forward to launch a powerful mid-range attack with high knockback, similar to Gravity's old [Z] move.

X
Regeneration Flames
Mastery 90

The user evokes blue and yellow flames around themselves to regain health in a certain radius (can also heal any player, ally or not), whilst rapidly consuming energy. * Regens ~2.6% hp per second

C
Fast Kick
Mastery 160

The user pulls back their leg and dashes forward, releasing a quick kick in the direction the user is facing. It has a very fast cooldown.

V
Full Transformation
Mastery 250

The user fully transforms into a blue and yellow Phoenix. This transformation takes around 10 energy every second. The only moves that take away energy in this transformation are Transformation and Regeneration Flames.

F
Hybrid Flight
Mastery 30

Allows the user to fly in hybrid form. Does not drain any energy, but the player must hold the [F] key, or d-pad right on Console. The player will gain fiery blue wings with yellow borders.

Moveset (V2)
TAP
Flaming Dash

The user curls up, dashing forward in the direction of the cursor, slightly stunning enemies in their way, and creating a small AoE explosion at the end.

Z
Cremation Cannon
Mastery 1

The user swiftly shoots a rift of flames toward their cursor that explodes on contact, or when it reaches its maximum range. It can leave flames on the ground that deals tick damage to enemies and provides slight healing to the user and their allies. * Awakening this skill will reduce damage a little compared to V1, but the attack range is doubled and the hitbox is about x1.5 larger.

X
Blue Flames
Mastery 90

The user covers themselves in a huge bubble, healing themselves based on how long the move is held, while also draining their energy. The bubble will also act as a barrier that damages and knocks back anything that comes close enough. * An exception to this is players who are currently allied to the user, who will also heal along with the user. * Health regeneration does not increase with Fruit stat because it heals based on max HP, with ~2.4% healing based on max HP per tick, and the time between each healing tick is ~0.24s.

C
Flame Exodus
Mastery 160

The user dashes forward in a rift of flames. If the user comes into contact with an enemy, they will bring them up into the air using a tornado-like attack made out of phoenix flames, then crash back onto the enemy, slamming them to the ground, dealing AoE explosion damage with a large hitbox. Launching forward without the attack being performed means that an enemy has not been caught in the attack.

V
Blazing Plumage
Mastery 250

The user transforms into a blue and yellow Phoenix with a piercing screech, drastically improving their abilities. While transformed, the user passively drains 10 energy per second. The user can also fly passively once in transformation, but they will be unable to use any other weapons aside from their fruit. Once activated, this ability leaves a spot of blue and yellow flames on the ground that deal considerable damage.

F
Swift Flight
Mastery 30

The user turns their arms into blue and yellow phoenix wings, gaining the ability to fly freely using the movement keys, and can also stop mid-air. However, their energy regeneration will be temporarily stopped until they exit this form. If the user stops mid-air, blue and yellow flames will rain down from their wings, doing small tick damage. Additionally, all of Phoenix's moves can be used in this form. (Fun fact: All unawakened moves used during awakened flight turns into transformed unawakened moves.)

Trivia

10
  • 1Currently, Buddha and Phoenix are the only Beast-type fruits to have an awakening.
  • 2Phoenix had some of the single harshest nerfs of any fruit, it's effects still hampering performance even today. Most moves have much larger visuals than actual hitboxes, attacks fire slow, and even moves can't chain well. The M1 also lost it's drag functionality.
  • 3Because of the Phoenix Flames and Feathers' Immortality passive on the move, the user can stall above enemies and damage them, making it an ideal way to AFK farm money/mastery.
  • 4Smoke and Blizzard also technically have infinite damage moves, but their moves need to be held.
  • 5Phoenix is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
  • 6Currently, Phoenix is one of the few fruits to have ranged M1s.
  • 7Unawakened somehow heals faster than the awakened .
  • 8Phoenix is the first ever fruit to possess HP benefits. (excluding pre-nerf Buddha)
  • 9The transformed Phoenix resembles a creature found in Chinese myths known as . The Phoenix is supposed to be a symbol of grace and virtue, an immortal bird that represented beauty. Its Blox Fruits counterpart, however, depicts the Phoenix as a violent and fiery beast. This depiction is closer to the Western Phoenix, despite having the traits and features of the Fenghuang.
  • 10can be used to damage Sharks or the Leviathan while other players are attacking just by still staying on top.

Phoenix — In-Depth Analysis

Phoenix Fruit is a Zoan with one of the most unique identities in Blox Fruits: it is simultaneously a solid PvP fruit and a coveted support utility in boss raids. In the 2026 meta it holds a strong A-tier rating, propped up by its iconic healing passive that regenerates HP for you and nearby allies during flight form. The rework significantly boosted its damage output, making Phoenix a credible threat rather than just a flying nurse. Expect to see it in Sea 3 raid teams specifically because a skilled Phoenix user can keep the group alive through boss AOEs that would normally wipe everyone. In 1v1 PvP it wins most mid-tier matchups through a combination of poke, healing sustainability, and a surprisingly fast combo starter.

Pair Phoenix with Angel V4 race — the flight synergy is undeniable and the passive speed stacks beautifully with Phoenix's flight form. Go hybrid Melee/Fruit (1,500 each, 500 Defense minimum) and equip Saber or Pole (2nd Form) for sword pressure between fruit combos. Awakening priority is clear: unlock the transformed flight form first since it quadruples your value in raids, then the regeneration AoE, then the offensive fire moves. Spending 18,000 fragments on full awakening is absolutely worth it.

Phoenix Fruit costs 1,800,000 Beli or 1,500 Robux. It's a common sight in the dealer but gets snatched fast because demand is high. Trade value sits in the upper mid-tier — pair it with Rubber or Spring to upgrade into high-tier fruits, or hold it solo and expect even trades with Shadow or Revive. It's popular enough that you can almost always find a trade, which makes it a great "liquid" fruit to hold when you're saving toward something bigger.
