Description
The Hydra Leader (formerly known as Island Empress) is a Lv. 1675 boss. The Hydra Leader wears a black and purple outfit and a purple band around her waist. She has a black mask covering the majority of her face and wear a black conical hat on her head. Her outfit is similar to the Venomous Assailants'. The Hydra Leader can be found in a temple located at Hydra Island, Third Sea.

Hydra Leader shoots a barrage of close-ranged venomous projectiles, which then explode, producing venom-like particles on the range of the projectile dealing moderate damage. (Drains Instinct dodges, but can Instinct break.)

Hydra Leader Strategy & Best Use
The Hydra Leader is a multi-headed sea serpent boss found in the ocean zones of the Third Sea, battled at level 2000 and above. It has one of the highest HP totals of any non-raid boss in Blox Fruits, with each of its three heads cycling independent attack patterns — water jets, poison breath, and bite combos. Defeating all three heads in sequence is required to claim the victory condition and trigger the drop phase. Accessories and sea-beast-type loot are the primary rewards.
Tackling the Hydra Leader is a team effort. Solo attempts are possible with endgame builds but extremely time-consuming. The key is focusing heads in order: the central head has the most HP and should be saved for last, while the flanking heads are eliminated first to reduce incoming damage significantly. The poison breath attack applies a debuff that stacks, so bringing antidote-type items or a high Spirit Fruit healer on the team is strongly recommended.
For farming, the Hydra Leader is one of the better sources of Third Sea sea-beast loot, which is needed for several late-game crafting recipes. Its long respawn timer makes coordinating a reliable team for each spawn valuable. Players who master the head-priority kill order can shave significant time off the fight, fitting more runs into a play session and increasing the hourly drop rate for rare sea-beast accessories.
