Smoke Admiral is the Level 1150 Marine boss tucked inside the cathedral on the hot side of Hot and Cold (Sea 2), right of the volcano hill. With roughly 27,000 HP and a 20-minute respawn, he's one of the most efficient farm targets in the Second Sea. He drops around 800,000 EXP and 28,750 Bounty/Honor per kill, plus a 15% chance at the Jitte katana (and the occasional Flail roll). His pattern is brutally simple: smoke-fist melee combos at point-blank, a short-range smoke dash, and constant immunity windows whenever he steps onto lava tiles — bait him off them.
The meta strategy is the wall cheese: stand behind one of the cathedral pillars, peek, and pump damage. Buddha users tank it trivially; ranged Logias like Light or Magma clear him in under 60 seconds. Best loadout is Buddha + Triple Katana (or Soul Cane for sustain), with Dragon Talon on V2 race for the M1 chain. Keep Observation on to dodge his smoke dash, then chunk him while he resets behind your pillar. Two clean rotations and he's down.
Utility-wise, Smoke Admiral is your mastery and EXP printer from ~1150 to ~1250, while Awakened Ice Admiral (Ice Castle, ~45,000 HP) is the endgame chest — he holds the 15% Library Key and 2.5% Hidden Key for Cursed Dual Katana. Farm Smoke first for raw progression, then graduate to Ice Admiral for the actual loot table.
