Island Secrets are the hidden quests added to the First Sea in Update 30 ("Sea 1 Rework", September 5, 2026). Finishing them gives you Secret Levels, which push the level cap from 2800 to 3000. They are also the first requirement for the Advanced Combat fighting style. This guide lists all 40 secrets by island and explains how the system works. Everything here is based on the community wiki pages for Island Secrets, Secret Levels, Awakened Bosses and the Update 30 patch notes, not on our own in-game testing. The wiki does not give full step lists for every quest, so open the in-game "Rumor" hints too.

How Secret Levels work
The numbers are simple:
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Base level cap | 2800 |
| Island Secrets in the First Sea | 40 |
| Levels per secret | 5 (also raises your stat cap by 5) |
| Total Secret Levels | 200 |
| Maximum level cap | 3000 |
Secret Levels behave like normal levels, so you can spend extra stat points up to your new cap. If you have unclaimed Secret Levels, the text "Secret Levels Available!" appears over your EXP bar. The wiki also says that finishing a secret early still raises your personal cap right away. For example, finishing one at level 100 raises your cap to 2805, so the bonus is never wasted.

A September 10 patch raised the cap from 2995 to 3000, and players at level 2995 see the "Secret Levels Available!" text. A September 7 patch confirmed secret quests now give the full 5 levels. If you received fewer than 5, your max level cap was still raised by 5, and earning EXP from other activities should adjust your level.
How to find the secrets
- Rumors. Quest NPCs now have a special "Rumor" dialogue option that gives hints about Island Secrets you still need.
- Teleporter unlock. Completing all 3 secret quests on an island (Middle Town excluded) unlocks that island as a teleport destination. The teleporter is inside the central building of Middle Town, and the island gets a yellow glow on the map. A patch changed the Middle Town teleporter so it only unlocks after you complete all secret quests on any island.
- No set order. You can do the quests in any order.
- Waiting events. Some secrets only start after you wait on the island, and a chat message tells you something has happened. The wiki notes that private servers are a poor choice for these, because you cannot choose which island an event spawns on.
- Solo spawns. For some secrets, only 1 player can complete them per spawn.
- Air Jump. The wiki notes that Free the Windmill and Raise the Flag need Air Jump.
All 40 secrets by island

| Middle Town | Early Access, Lookout Duty, X Marks the Spot, The Finale |
| Jungle | Zipline Repair, The Thieving Monkey, Awakened Gorilla King |
| Pirate Village | Free the Windmill, Tavern Brawl, Awakened Chef |
| Desert | Save Hasan, Rune Cleanup, Prickly Harvest |
| Frozen Village | Breaking the Ice, Build A Snowman, Awakened Yeti |
| Marine Fortress | Raise the Flag, Pirate Raid, Awakened Vice Admiral |
| Lower Skylands | Missing Lightning Bolt, Return the Treasure, Unexpected Guest |
| Prison | Prison Break, Mysterious Key, Awakened Warden |
| Colosseum | Gladiatorial Combat, Previous Champions, Crowded Colosseum |

| Underwater City | Ride the Bubble, Scattered Light, Awakened Fishman Lord |

That is 4 in Middle Town plus 3 on each of the other 12 islands, for 40 in total.
Example quests the wiki describes
These are good first targets because they are simple puzzles rather than boss fights.
- Lookout Duty (Middle Town). Talk to the Experienced Captain and pick "Keep Lookout". Four waves of ships pass by, and after each wave the Captain asks about the number or color of sails. You must answer all four correctly.
- X Marks the Spot (Middle Town). Hit trees, barrels, lamps or boxes with melee M1 attacks until map pieces drop. Collect all the pieces to reveal the buried treasure location, then dig it up.
- Zipline Repair (Jungle). Find the grappling hook next to the tree with the platform, climb up and aim it across the water by holding and releasing, like fishing.
- The Thieving Monkey (Jungle). After waiting on the island, footprints appear near a big tree. Hit the tree with a melee M1 to reveal the thief, defeat it and return the hat to the Adventurer.
- Tavern Brawl (Pirate Village). After a wait, chat says trouble broke out at the tavern. Beat three Tavern Pirates at the back and talk to the owner.
- Save Hasan (Desert). Step on the silver chest near the pyramid to reveal a secret passage, defeat the skeletons attacking Hasan, then talk to him and the Desert Merchant.
- Build A Snowman (Frozen Village). After a wait, heavy snow falls. Turn snow piles into snowballs and roll three of them together.
- Prickly Harvest (Desert). Collect ten cactus petals by hitting cacti with M1 attacks and deliver them to the Desert Merchant.

The Finale
The last secret in Middle Town can only be completed after all the other Island Secrets. Go to the Middle Town teleporter and select each island in order, without actually teleporting to them. After the sequence, a short cutscene plays and you are sent to your team's starter island with the final five levels. The order is Pirate Starter or Marine Starter, Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, Lower Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City, Upper Skylands and Fountain City. It is also the key step for Advanced Combat.
Awakened Bosses and the Secrets Master
Many secrets are named "Awakened" plus a boss name. The wiki explains that Awakened Bosses are a First Sea hourly event. A boss awakens at the start of each hour if at least one player is nearby, and you cannot damage it until you complete its mini-game. During the last 30 minutes of every hour, talk to the Secrets Master to learn which boss will awaken next. Players who deal enough damage get a free gacha roll.
Awakening examples from the wiki: the Gorilla King wants bananas shaken from a tree, Chef needs a stew cooked in a cauldron with random materials, Yeti needs three green ice blocks broken with Aura on, the Warden needs the lever order Red, Blue, Green, Blue, the Magma General needs its pressure points destroyed, and the Cyborg needs glowing cables fixed.
Each time you finish one, chat says something like "(username) brought down the awakened Gorilla King!". Meet the bosses on our pages for Warden, Magma General and Cyborg.

Known bugs and patch fixes
The wiki and the Update 30 notes record several issues, so do not worry if something looks odd:
- Sometimes the Quest NPC only gives 2 levels after a secret. The wiki says to keep talking to the NPC to receive the rest, and that you must do this before leaving the game, or you cannot receive them.
- Missing levels can be earned by killing Raid Bosses, fishing, completing quests or some Sea Events. The only repeatable secret is the Unexpected Guest quest.
- The wiki lists a bug where players can gain Secret Levels from fishing, raid bosses and normal EXP, because the EXP needed is billions instead of being coded only for secrets.
- Patches on September 7, 10 and 22 fixed the Jungle relic door, the "Fear the Reaper" quest, the Dungeon HUD scaling, final secret levels, Upper Skylands, Lower Skylands, Prison and Pirate Village secrets, and awakened boss credit. A later patch on October 9 fixed quest bugs, and one on October 11 fixed Advanced Combat puzzle bugs.
Quick plan for beginners
- 1Start in Middle Town and try the Lookout Duty and X Marks the Spot secrets.
- 2Visit one island at a time and talk to its Quest NPC for the Rumor hint.
- 3While waiting for timed events, do the puzzle-style secrets nearby.
- 4Check the Secrets Master during the last 30 minutes of each hour for the next Awakened Boss.
- 5Finish The Finale last, and then think about Advanced Combat.
Always play in public or private servers according to your own comfort, ask a parent before spending Robux, and remember that none of the secrets need real money.
