Summon Sea Beast

The Tide Keeper has the ability to spawn a Sea Beast, similar to players when they've reached 10,000,000 bounty/honor. The Sea Beasts Tide Keeper spawns only have 20,000 health but do just as much damage as a normal Sea Beast. They do not give any rewards upon being defeated.

Try to kill the Tide Keeper before he spawns the Sea Beast.

  2. 2

The Tide Keeper spawns every 30 minutes.

  3. 3

The Tide Keeper's Sea Beast has less health than a normal Sea Beast and does not drop anything.

  4. 4

For grinding mastery, it is recommended to kill Awakened Ice Admiral instead because of the Tide Keeper’s Sea Beast and his damages, while the Awakened Ice Admiral can be trapped in walls and easily get killed.

Tide Keeper Strategy & Best Use

The Tide Keeper is a Level 1475 boss sitting on a small platform behind Forgotten Island in the Second Sea, packing roughly 105,000 HP and respawning every 30 minutes. Two drops matter: the Water Key at ~40% (some sources cite 15-30%), which is the gate-item to unlock Sharkman Karate, and the Dragon Trident, a legendary melee weapon at ~7.5-10%. His melee combos chunk up to 2,000 damage per hit and he occasionally calls in Sea Beasts to grief you mid-fight.

The fight rewards mobility over tankiness. Bring an awakened ranged fruit like Dough, Buddha, or Light and kite him from the rocks. Hit-and-run is the move: dash in after his swing animation, land a combo (Electric Claw + Death Step), then disengage. Pop Aura V2 if you're undergeared.

Farm value is excellent for mid-game players: Sharkman Karate alone justifies grinding the Water Key. Realistically you'll need 3-6 kills for the key and 10-15 for the trident — totally doable in a single afternoon.
