Description
Portal is a Legendary Natural-type Devil Fruit in Blox Fruits that costs 1,900,000 Beli or 2,000 Robux. It is the ultimate mobility and utility fruit in the game. World Warp opens a portal interface that lets you teleport to almost any island in the current sea instantly, making it priceless for boss-hopping, escaping bounty hunters, and transporting your whole crew. Portal Dash teleports you through multiple portals and slams enemies down, serving as a reliable combo starter in PvP. Parallel Escape makes you temporarily invisible and invincible, stunning nearby enemies when it activates. While Portal lacks raw damage output and has long cooldowns compared to pure combat fruits, its unmatched map control and escape potential make it a top pick for hybrid play styles that pair fruit utility with powerful sword combos. Portal is not awakenable.
Moves & Abilities
6 movesWhen tapping or clicking, the user jumps forward with great speed while backflipping, and leaps off of any nearby objects. This move does not deal damage and does not collide with Enemies or players.
The user dashes forward, in a manner closer to a teleport than a dash. If it hits an enemy, it sends them through multiple portals throwing them around, and finally smashing them to the ground. This move does not break Instinct on the final smash and does only on the impact with the first dash. This move also has slight aim-assist
The user enters a separate dimension that lasts for a few seconds. During this state, the user becomes invisible and invincible and is able to move around freely, and it also makes the user immune to water, but not Lava
Upon usage, an interface having locations corresponding to their own seas shows up. After choosing the desired destination, a portal forms, with chains wrapping the user and nearby enemies/allies. After full formation, if the user is close enough, they are teleported to the destination alongside their allies (which also need to be in range), and enemies are stunned and damaged. Up until the portal lasts, the user, their allies and enemies can repeatedly go from the origin to the destination back and forth. Afterwards, the portal disintegrates.
The user creates a rift to a separate dimension that attracts and pulls in the user along with other nearby enemies within its proximity. Everyone who is absorbed into it will be put into a flat dimension, with the only exit being a portal above the rift's center. While in the dimension, the user's energy slowly drains. The rift lasts until the user's energy fully drains, or until the user leaves/closes the rift by reusing the ability or dying. This move cannot be held.
The user creates two portals - one at their cursor and another where they are standing. This is a short-range move that instantly teleports the user upon use, and anyone who enters said portals will be teleported to the other side. If an enemy walks into either of these portals, they will receive damage and get slightly stunned every time they get teleported. The portals last for around 12 seconds. This move cannot be held.
Pros
15- ✓Best mobility fruit in the game (four mobility abilities).
- ✓Good for avoiding and escaping fights.
- ✓Great for PvP.
- ✓Unpredictable attack patterns (land and sky mobility).
- ✓Great counter to Instinct's player detection as moves such as [X], [C], and [V] make the player disappear from the area. However, if the enemy has Pale Scarf, they can usually also detect players on other islands.
- ✓Great for gun or sword mains.
- ✓Great for chasing an enemy who has better mobility than the user. (E.g. Light, Tiger, Phoenix)
- ✓Most reliable source for finding Legendary Sword Dealer, Barista Cousin and Elite Pirates as well as Fruit Hunting.
- ✓All moves have minor stun damage.
- ✓Good mobility.
- ✓Good stun.
- ✓Good AoE.
- ✓Amazing combo starter.
- ✓Can grab players even if they have Instinct activated.
- ✓Extremely abusable stun, especially since the user is un-detectable, and using macros can flashstep onto players.
Cons
15- ✗Not recommended for fruit mains for PvP due to having long cooldowns, lack of AoE and overall low damage, except for the ability.
- ✗Easily countered by Blade if both players are sword users.
- ✗Mainly close-ranged attacks.
- ✗Requires very precise aiming and timing.
- ✗Not recommended for Sea Beast hunts for fruit mains because of low damage.
- ✗High mastery requirements for First Sea and early Second Sea players.
- ✗No damage.
- ✗Can be annoying, as it could fling the user while grinding.
- ✗Can be hard to hit in PvP without stun or at long range.
- ✗Short range.
- ✗Mostly focuses on one target, making it less viable for grinding NPCs.
- ✗Can easily be Instinct-tricked, allowing the opponent to escape a potential combo.
- ✗Can be hard to hit in PvP without stun.
- ✗A well-timed Buddha can drag the player out of the ability.
- ✗On rare occasions, other well timed attacks may pull the user out too (ex: Godhuman )
Trivia
10- 1When the Portal dimension is used while having no stats in melee, the player can stay in the dimension forever due to the low energy drain being so low.
- 2The teleport abilities do not teleport other players if they have PvP disabled or if they are in a Safe Zone and are not allied to the user.
- 3Portal is the first fruit that has a teleport move that other players can access.
- 4Although Portal and Phoenix share the Robux price of 2,000, they do not share the same money value. Portal is valued at 1,900,000, while Phoenix is valued at 1,800,000.
- 5This is the first pair to share the same Robux price but not the same value, the second pair being Control and Kitsune. Both are priced at 4,000, but Control is valued at 9,000,000, while Kitsune is valued at 8,000,000.
- 6Portal is the first fruit that is able to bring up a separate GUI.
- 7Alongside the teleport move, Portal has the most mobility moves at four. Phoenix is second at three.
- 8The permanent version of Portal has a lot of value, mostly because of its [C] World Warp move, as it can teleport nearly anywhere.
- 9Midnight Blade and Bizarre Revolver create portals similar to those created by Portal.
- 10None of Portal’s moves have destructible physics.
Portal — In-Depth Analysis
Portal Fruit is a Paramecia and one of the most controversial fruits in the 2026 meta because its value is almost entirely utility-based rather than combat-based. Skilled players rank it anywhere from B to S depending on how much they value mobility and griefing potential — and in competitive Sea 3 PvP, portal manipulation is a genuine skill that top players exploit ruthlessly. The ability to create escape routes, bait opponents into bad positions, and teleport allies across the map gives Portal a ceiling that most fruits can't match. The combat damage is mediocre at best, so if you want to delete people in a straight fight, look elsewhere.
Portal pairs extremely well with Rabbit V4 race for the speed that lets you actually position your portals before opponents close the gap. Full Fruit stat investment works best since your combat moves are your only real damage. Use Pole (2nd Form) or Dark Blade for the moments you need to dish out physical damage. Awakening unlocks the ability to send opponents through your portals involuntarily — a devastating mechanic that instantly makes Portal a top-tier griefing and competitive control tool. Prioritize this awakening move above all others; it transforms the fruit from quirky to genuinely dangerous.
Portal Fruit costs 2,000,000 Beli or 1,700 Robux. Its trade value is consistently high for a non-combat fruit because of its unique utility, typically trading even with Phoenix or slightly above Rubber. Players who understand its ceiling value it significantly more than newcomers, so you can sometimes get favourable trades by selling to experienced players who know what they're getting. The fruit rarely drops in physical drops — dealer is your primary source, and it sells out within minutes of restocking.
