Description
Picked up from the Advanced Weapon Dealer at Marine Fortress, the Cannon is a rare gun that rewards players willing to spend 100,000 Beli on long-range firepower rather than close-quarters steel. Because it scales with the Gun stat rather than the Sword stat, builds that invest in Gun Mastery will see the biggest gains as they level the weapon through combat. Its three moves tell a clear story: Cannon Ball opens with a straight high-impact projectile, Chain Detonation chains explosive blasts across nearby targets, and Incendiary Ammo coats enemies in fire damage over time. That combination of burst damage and sustained burning makes the Cannon effective in both PvP skirmishes and PvE farming at the Marine Fortress tier of the game. As a rare-tier weapon it hits noticeably harder than common or uncommon alternatives at the same mastery level, making the Beli investment worthwhile for gun-focused players pushing through the early seas.

Cannon — In-Depth Analysis
What Is the Cannon?
The Cannon is a Rare gun available in the First Sea, sold by the Advanced Weapon Dealer at Marine Fortress for 100,000 Beli. It's one of the earlier purchasable guns in the game and stands out as an affordable, low-mastery option for players who want an explosive weapon in the First Sea without farming boss drops. Its cannonball-style projectiles deal impact explosions, break Instinct, and even leave flames behind.
Strengths, Weaknesses, and Who It's For
The Cannon's biggest selling points are its accessibility and versatility: low mastery requirements, an explosion on impact, the ability to damage Sea Events, and a fire proc that breaks Instinct. For early-to-mid First Sea players and those transitioning into early Second Sea, it's a reliable NPC farming and boss utility gun. Destructible terrain reactions add a small environmental bonus.
Weaknesses are the familiar gun trade-offs amplified: very slow projectile speed makes it easy to dodge in PvP, and the M1 damage actually hits harder than some of its skill shots. Rubber users are immune, and the multi-bullet nature means not all shots are guaranteed to land.
Tip: The Cannon is most effective against stationary targets — use it to chunk down Sea Event health bars from a safe distance where the slow projectile speed doesn't matter.
