The user shoots a green acidic bullet that deals poison damage over time to the target. It also causes a small knockback and stun, which can help set up combos.

Spiky BombMastery: 100

The user shoots a green projectile that explodes after a short time, dealing damage and stunning enemies. If the projectile directly hits a player/NPC, the bomb will latch on to them, stopping them from escaping it. After the explosion, the leftover gas resembles a skull.

X
Acidic SmokeMastery: 200

The user shoots a gas projectiles that deal damage as well as poison damage over time. It also disables the enemy's Instinct. It does not stun, but disables the opponent from attacking, dashing, using Flash Step or using Air Jump for a short duration of time.

Trivia

  • 1It's famously featured in skilled builds, mostly with Lightning (formerly Rumble).
  • 2However, this is no longer the case, as almost all of the weapons used in said builds have been reworked, making them all quite up to date (with the exception being Superhuman).
  • 3The Acidum Rifle is powerful in PvP due to its ability to break Instinct, have large AoE stun moves, and extremely high damage.
  • 4There may be visual glitches when the Acidum Rifle appears in front of the player's character. This is due to the avatar's arms, and the player will need to change their avatar's arms to fix it.
  • 5Acidum Rifle is the only gun that goes around to a players back.
  • 6Many players in the community, especially "skilled" ones, complain about the rework making the Acidum Rifle's moves harder to hit. Although it was fixed, it is still arguably worse than pre-rework due to the moves animations seeming smaller and not as "destructive" as pre-rework.
