The effort is worth it — legendary rarity places the Canvander firmly in the upper tier of swords, and its two moves give players real offensive versatility in both PvP and PvE situations. Piercing Dash propels you forward into enemies, closing gaps quickly and dealing damage in a tight burst, while Scattering Gust releases an outward force that pushes foes back and hits multiple targets. Together these moves reward an aggressive, mobile playstyle that can chain pressure efficiently. Because the Canvander is a sword, it scales with the Sword stat, so investing mastery points there is essential to getting the most out of it. The user dashes forward, scattering purple-white flowers and launching five purple air slashes in the direction of their cursor. If the slashes hit an enemy, their and the user's screen will cover in a purple tint for a second.

What Is the Canvander?

The Canvander is a Legendary sword from the Third Sea, obtained as a drop from the Beautiful Pirate enemy in the Floating Turtle area. It's a mobility-forward sword with a rushing movement built into its Z skill, and its kit is specifically designed to drain Instinct dodges rapidly — up to seven dodges in a single second when both moves are used in quick succession. That single trait makes it a nightmare for Instinct-reliant opponents.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Who It's For

The Canvander's greatest strength is its Instinct drain: few weapons can deplete an opponent's dodge resource this quickly, which makes it an excellent opener to set up a full combo once Instinct is exhausted. Its Z skill has essentially zero end-lag, meaning you can transition into any other move mid-rush. The slashes have long range with a decent hitbox.

The trade-offs are notable: the M1 dashes on the first and third click make consistent NPC farming awkward, the hitbox is small on the X skill, and fully landing all projectiles requires good prediction. Blade users are immune, and the rushing Z can be tricky to convert into a clean combo without practice.

Tip: Open a PvP fight with Canvander's Z followed immediately by X to burn through the enemy's Instinct dodges — then swap to a higher-damage weapon to close out the combo while they're defenseless.
