Soul Sword guide

Soul Sword punishes whoever hits you: when a Twisted damages you, it gets a 15% speed debuff for 30 seconds, and the debuff does not stack. The wiki shows what that means for the fastest chasers. Twisted Pebble and Twisted Glisten drop from 24 to 20.4, Gourdy from 26 to 22.1 and Bobette from 25 to 21.25. Every other Twisted in the roster with a listed chase speed falls below 20 after the debuff, which is a 1-star Toon's run speed. The wiki concedes it is not enough to escape the very fastest, but it is a real equalizer.

For Soulvester there is a second effect: while it is equipped he gains an extra heart. Since version 0.29.1 his base is 3 hearts, so he runs with 4. He has 5 stars in Skill Check and Extraction Speed and only 1 in Movement Speed and Stamina, so the sword helps with the one thing he cannot do, outrun a chaser. The wiki compares it with Blushy Bat: the bat stuns for 3 seconds, the sword slows for 30.

Research is on Twisted Soulvester, an Uncommon, which walks at 8 and chases at 16. The Toon itself costs 700 Pumpkins and 50% of the same Research. The Trinket debuted on October 10, 2025, returned in 0.29.1 and can be earned until the Halloween Event ends on November 6, 2026.
