Train Whistle guide

Train Whistle makes you immune to the Slow debuff, full stop. It does not touch other debuffs, and the wiki lists the specifics. Twisted Vee applies Slow for 5 seconds on a chase. Twisted Rodger applies Slow and Confused, and the whistle does not cancel Confused III. Twisted Finn spawns Ichor Puddles that apply Slow for 10 seconds and Illness for 20, and Illness III stays. Twisted Barnaby applies Slow I for 10 to 20 seconds. During Easter, Twisted Bassie's flowers and vines add Slow as well, but not Tired II.

So the Trinket is best when you know a Slow source is on the floor and you play a low-mobility Toon. Soulvester, Connie and Shrimpo at 1 star of Movement Speed lose the most from Slow. Ribecca is already immune to every debuff, so she does not need it. The Eject Button item also removes Slow, but only briefly.

Research is on Twisted Dyle, a Lethal Twisted that appears on Dyle's Floor, the challenge floor unlocked by the TIME'S UP card on odd floors from 9. With 5% per encounter and 1% per Capsule, expect many visits. The Trinket arrived on August 11, 2025, alongside Paint Bucket. No Ichor price. Available now.
