Party Popper

Party Popper gives you a 5-second look at what is around the Machine you just started. When you begin extracting, any Twisteds in the initial nearby radius are highlighted. The wiki points out a neat trick: stepping off and on the Machine refreshes the effect, so you can keep checking. It is a scouting tool rather than a stat boost, so its worth depends on the floor.

The situations the wiki highlights are the ones with the least room for error: hard Twisted combinations, small maps, fast Twisteds and Blackouts. It is especially strong on Machines in dead ends, near the center of the map or in long corridors with thin walls, and with ranged Twisteds. The radius is small, so a Twisted across the map is not shown, but information from that far away is rarely actionable. It pays off most in solo runs, where there is no distractor to keep Twisteds busy and awareness is everything. The Toon whose Twisted unlocks it, Yatta, has 5 stars of Extraction Speed, so she spends little time at each Machine and uses the effect often.

You unlock it with 100% Research on Twisted Yatta, a Common (75 of 110 spawn weight at the start), so it is one of the faster Research grinds. It has no Ichor price and is available now.
