Twisted Coal

Coal looks slow on paper and turns dangerous only when the lights go out. On a normal floor it walks at 8 and chases at 16, both tied for 30th of 37, but it already sees farther than most: 35 in a circle, tied for 3rd of 40, and 70 straight ahead. Its attention span is a long 5 seconds, so once it locks on, it keeps tracking you.

A Blackout changes the numbers. The wiki lists higher speed, a larger hitbox and wider detection while the power is out: direct vision jumps to 125, hearing to 200, and the circular range stays at 35. The trade is a shorter attention span of 3 seconds, which is the window to break line of sight and hide. Because the chase speed is low, any Toon that keeps Stamina in reserve can outrun it, and Coal's own Toon, with 4 stars of Movement Speed and 4 of Stamina, shows the intended answer: keep moving and do not stop in the open.

Coal is a Rare Twisted tied to the Christmas event. At 100% Research you receive the Coal trinket, a drawback item that lowers Stealth by 10% and both walk and run speed by 10%.
