Speed Pills

Speed Pills give a boost that lasts 12 rooms, and the wiki compares them to Vitamins, the speed item of the main game. They are a Speed Boost Item with a stack of up to 8, which is more than the 5 allowed for the Health Pills of the same collaboration.

Part two addition

The Speed Pills were not in the Tales of Tanorio x DOORS event when it began on October 31, 2024. They were added during part two of the event, which ran until December 7, 2024. The wiki shows how they look in the inventory only in a heavily blurred image.

Why rooms and not seconds

A duration counted in rooms fits the structure of the two minigames. The Haunted Mansion has 100 rooms for one to four players, split into a first layer of rooms -2 to 52 and a second layer of rooms 53 to 100. Nightmare Mansion is a speedrun challenge over 100 rooms, added on November 16, 2024. A 12-room boost therefore covers about an eighth of a full run.

What is unknown

The wiki does not say where the pills spawn or what the exact speed multiplier is, so those details are left out here. Everything else on the entry comes from its type, stack size and usage line.
