Vitamins guide

Buy Vitamins in The Hotel's Pre-Run Shop for 100 Knobs and you receive three doses, which the wiki prices at about 33 Knobs each. Jeff's Shop sells them for 100 Gold in The Hotel, and the Pre-Run Shop in The Outdoors also stocks them. You can hold up to 5. Before SUPER HARD MODE the Gold price was 50.

Each dose gives a 10-second speed boost and heals 50 HP after a 10-second regeneration. The healing was removed in The Hotel+ Update and returned with The Archives update, and the effect time went from 16 seconds to 8 and then to 10. You can take a dose every 3 seconds, but swallowing 4 in quick succession reverses your controls for a moment.

Where they help

The wiki points to fast entities: Figure, Seek and the Grumbles. During a Seek chase the boost adds to your running speed. It also helps when there is no hiding spot near Rush, Ambush, A-60, Dupe or A-120. It combines with the Starlight Vial for a short, very fast burst.

Where to find them

They are rare in containers, almost guaranteed in The Infirmary, and rare in vine-covered chests in The Mines. The Mines Pre-Run Shop does not sell them.
