Starlight Vial guide
The Starlight Vial is the smallest of the three Starlight potions and the one you will find in numbers: you can carry up to 5, and a normal run of The Backdoor yields about 3 to 4. It was added on March 15, 2024, in The Hunt: First Edition, and it can also drop from the Prize Inside candy of the Trick Or Treat modifier.
When you drink it you glow, gain a speed boost and recover 25% of your maximum health. The effects last around 5 seconds. Healing past the cap becomes a star shield that drains at a rate that leaves you at full health when the effect ends, as long as you take no damage.
What it cannot do
- It does not stack with itself or other Starlight items; wait a few seconds between vials.
- Its maximum of 125 HP with the shield equals the damage Rush and A-60 deal, so only the Bottle of Starlight survives those.
- It does not protect against instant-death entities such as Seek or Figure.
Where it helps
Use it to recover time after a Blitz in The Backdoor, to heal after the Lookman, or as a short light in a dark room. It also stacks its speed with Vitamins.
