Where to get Weak Flashlight
- Tales of Tanorio x DOORS event
Weak Flashlight guide
The Weak Flashlight is the event's version of the flashlight in the Tales of Tanorio collab, which brought two DOORS-style minigames, the Haunted Mansion and the Nightmare Mansion. That collaboration between Team of Tanorio and LSPLASH ran from October 31 to December 7, 2024, and the Haunted Mansion offered 100 rooms for one to four players while Nightmare Mansion, added on November 16, is a speedrun challenge.
How long it lasts
The item is a Directional Light Source with a total of 8 minutes of fuel, at 2 minutes per bar. It always spawns at 50% charge, though, so a fresh one gives only 4 minutes of light. Picking up a second flashlight recharges it back to 50%.
Name and look
The wiki points out that, despite resembling a Spotlight, it works like a normal flashlight. Its title in the game files is Holder_WEAK_FLASHLIGHT. The icon was blurred in the teaser, and its sounds for turning on, turning off and running out of battery are still listed as to be added.
What else was planned
On a shelf in the event's room -2 players could see an unused Flare that the files list, theorized to have worked like a glowstick, but it was never usable. The Weak Flashlight is the working light of the pair.
