Akkorokamui guide
Akkorokamui is the single most valuable fish in the whole record: its average value ranks 1st of 742. It is an Apex-rarity Hunt fish, found in the far part of The Ocean during an Earthquake, and it needs a Meteor or a Stag Beetle as bait. That combination of far waters, a quake and rare bait is what keeps it exclusive.
The scale is absurd. An average one weighs 2,500,000 kg, from 600,000 up to 29,820,000 kg, ranking 3rd of 663 by max weight. At just C$0.078 per kg, the average sale still reaches C$2,000,000. Base XP is 652,000.
That is more than the second-best fish documented in value, as the 1st-place ranking shows, and it comes entirely from the weight, not the price per kilo. If you land one, you are holding the top payout in the game's records.
The wiki calls it a divine cephalopod from ancient legend, with scarlet tendrils that glow like veins.
Verdict: the ultimate long-term target. It is only worth the preparation if you can reach The Ocean's far side during an earthquake with a Meteor or Stag Beetle in hand. If you succeed, sell for the C$2,000,000 or keep it as a trophy.
