Birthday Present

The Birthday Present swings from 2 kg to 50 kg, a 25-fold range, with an average of 26 kg. Its maximum puts it 415th of 1,059 documented fish by weight. It is a Limited fish tied to Cupcakes bait and the 2nd Anniversary zone, and the wiki lists no time, weather or season requirement.

On the money side, the listing shows C$110 per kg and an average sale value of C$2,860, good for 306th of 1,038 fish by average value, plus a base XP of 2,100. Multiplying the 26 kg average by C$110 gives exactly C$2,860, so the average value follows directly from the average weight.

The wiki quotes it as "Year two, and the wrapping paper is even shinier. Something inside keeps flopping. Open it!" The other 11 fish of the 12 in this zone are also Limited, among them 2nd Birthday Balloon and Birthday Candle. The status reads as no longer obtainable and limited/event.

Verdict: with that status, read this as a reference entry; the number to remember is the C$2,860 average.
