Carrot Shark guide

Carrot Shark is the headline fish of Carrot Garden, an Exotic with a dusty carrot sheen and a growing sprout. Catch it in Windy weather during Spring; the listing names no bait or time of day.

Two numbers define it. First, the average value is C$3,565, which is 209th of the 742 documented fish, in the top third. Second, the base XP is 11,520, which is a very large reward. It weighs between 15 kg and 47 kg, averaging 31 kg, and the max ranks 330th of 663, right around the midpoint for size. At C$115 per kg the weight pays out well.

The wind and the season are the real constraints: you need both at once, so you may have to wait for the right weather.

Verdict: this is the fish to prioritize in Carrot Garden. If Windy conditions come up in spring, drop what you are doing and fish for it; the XP alone is worth the wait, and the C$3,565 average is a good bonus.
