Coral Chromis guide

Flakes will bring up the Coral Chromis in the Grand Reef, where it is a Common catch. The wiki describes a small reef fish with bright, distinctive scales that cleans and protects its home corals from parasites.

It is one of the lighter fish in the reef. It averages 1.25 kg (0.5 kg to 4.2 kg) and sells for C$60 per kg, so the average value is C$75. That ranks 612th of the 742 documented fish, and its maximum weight is 552nd of 663. Base XP is 95, which is more than its sale price, so for this fish the experience is the better reward.

Reef Minnow is the other Common fish listed in the same zone, so the two are the everyday catches of the Grand Reef. Practical take: you do not seek the Coral Chromis out, you collect it on the way. Its main use is as cheap XP while you stay in the reef. Sell extras to keep your inventory free, and do not spend premium bait on it, because Flakes already does the job.
