Watching Glowfin guide
Watching Glowfin is about as cheap as fish get in Pine Shoals. It is Common, takes a Worm, and appears in Spring during the Day. The weight runs 1 kg to 8.4 kg, averaging 2.5 kg, and at C$20 per kg an average catch sells for C$30.
By value that is 698th of 742 documented fish, which puts it in the bottom handful, and its maximum weight ranks 479th of 663. Base XP is just 20. The numbers explain why nobody builds a plan around it.
What it does have going for it is accessibility. A plain Worm, daylight and a single season are about as easy as conditions get, and no weather is listed, so it can turn up on any kind of day.
It is not useful, but it is harmless: a quick sale to clear a slot, nothing more.
Verdict: if you are fishing Pine Shoals for something else, you will meet this fish a lot, and the right move is to sell it without a second thought. Do not chase it, do not save it for anything, and do not expect it to move the needle on coins or levels. Its only value is as a baseline for what a cheap catch looks like.
