Drifting Gildfin guide
Pine Shoals once produced the Drifting Gildfin, an Extinct fish that is now flagged Unobtainable. The wiki records it as a night fish on Shrimp in foggy autumn weather, described as a wanderer that drifts with gilded grace. Weights ran from 1 kg to 6.1 kg, averaging 2.5 kg.
Its numbers are small. At C$20 per kg it averaged C$30, 698th of 742 documented fish by value, and the 6.1 kg maximum is 528th of 663 by weight. Base XP was 20. Nothing about it suggests a catch worth organizing a trip around, even back when it could be caught.
There are no other fish in the same zone to compare it with, and no rods listed for Pine Shoals, so this entry stands on its own as a historical record. If you are collecting information on Extinct fish, note the conditions and the modest value. If you are fishing for profit, skip it entirely: you cannot obtain it, and it would not have paid much anyway.
