Minnow guide

Roslit Bay's pond is where Minnow lives, and the listing says it turns up most easily on Clear Spring days, usually in schools of four to six. The bait is Bagel, an unusual choice for a fish this small, and it is the same fish people use as bait elsewhere.

As a catch it is almost worthless. Averaging 0.4 kg (0.2 to 1.3 kg) at C$76 per kg, it sells for C$30.4, rank 697 of the 742 documented fish, and its maximum weight is 625 of 663, so it sits near the very bottom of both lists. It does give 75 base XP, which is more than several fish worth much more.

Chub, Pearl and Trout share its rarity and zone. Roslit Bay also sells five rods: Blazebringer Rod, Magma Rod, Fortune Rod, Rapid Rod and Steady Rod, so you can pick your tool without leaving.

The useful way to treat Minnow is as a cheap source of XP in Roslit Bay. Catch a few while the weather is clear, keep the ones you want as bait, and sell the rest. It is not worth a dedicated trip, but it costs you nothing when you are already there.
