Luminescent Cavern guide

Luminescent Cavern is a place for people with money to spend and a taste for blue. It is obtainable, has a crab cage and no bait crate, and its four listed residents are an Inn Keeper, Vimble, Rokko and a Crimson Guard.

Two rods are sold here: the Cerulean Fang Rod at C$800,000 and the Luminescent Oath at C$1,000,000. Both are late-game purchases, so arrive with savings.

Of the ten names tied to the cavern, three fish have documented values, one each of Common, Rare and Exotic. Bluelip Batfish is the Common entry at about C$50. Blue Ribbon Eel, Rare, averages about C$1,200. The standout is Colossal Blue Dragon, Exotic, at roughly C$14,583, which is more than twelve times the eel.

In practice, the cavern rewards patience with a single lucky catch. The Batfish pays little, the eel is a decent bonus and the dragon can pay for a good part of the Cerulean Fang Rod on its own. If you land one, keep it for the rod fund instead of selling it early.
