Colossal Blue Dragon
“A breathtakingly massive form of the blue dragon, its wing-like fins ripple like banners as it drifts through the open sea. Though its size is staggering, it moves with a slow, graceful rhythm, glowing softly as if lit from within. Sailors say spotting one is a once-in-a-lifetime event; a fleeting glimpse of living ocean light.”— in-game Bestiary description

Colossal Blue Dragon guide
A Hunt fish of Exotic rarity, the Colossal Blue Dragon lives in the Luminescent Cavern and takes Shark Head as bait in Clear weather during Spring or Summer. The wiki pictures a gigantic form of the blue dragon, drifting slowly with fins rippling like banners and glowing as if lit from within.
Its recorded stats are unusual and worth reading with care. The entry lists a minimum of 50 kg and an average of 200,000 kg, with no maximum given, and a price of C$0.667 per kg alongside an average value of C$14,583. Those figures do not line up neatly with one another, so treat the weights as the wiki's listing rather than a precise guide. What is clear is the rank: that average value is 104th of the 742 documented fish. The reward in XP is huge at 500,000 base XP.
The zone sells Cerulean Fang Rod and Luminescent Oath, the natural rods to bring for a Hunt fish. Verdict: it is for players who already have a strong setup and want the XP, not for early game. If you can handle Shark Head and the seasonal window, it is worth the effort for the experience alone.
