Cerulean Fang Rod

Cerulean Fang Rod is the C$800,000 option in the Luminescent Cavern, where the only other rod listed is Luminescent Oath. The in-game text calls it swift and cutting, and the stats follow: Luck 190, Lure Speed 75, Control 0.25 and Resilience 35. It has a passive, a Disturbance of +2 and a Progress Speed of 15.

The rankings are good but not extreme. Luck is 52nd of 184 obtainable rods, Lure Speed 87th, Control 15th of 185 and Resilience 41st. The data lists no maximum weight, so how heavy a fish it can hold is not known here.

The price is the issue. Cinder Block Rod (Luck 300, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (Luck 250, C$190,000) and Challenger's Rod (Luck 190, C$750,000) all match or beat its Luck for the same money or less. Challenger's Rod has identical Luck for C$50,000 less, though Cerulean Fang has better Control.

Buy it if you are already fishing the Luminescent Cavern and value the Control of 0.25 and the Progress Speed passive over a lower price. If you only want Luck, the cheaper options above give you the same or more for a small part of the cost. Luminescent Oath is the other rod to check in the same cavern.
