Bat Whisperer Rod

Bat Whisperer Rod belonged to the FischFright 2025 event and is not obtainable today. It was purchasable from the Flying Dutchman for 10,000 Candy, the event currency, so there is no C$ price to compare. The in-game text describes a cursed rod that summons swarms of bats to snatch fish from the water, with the swarm growing under conditions it does not explain.

The stats were solid for an event rod. Luck is 96, Lure Speed 86, Control 0.15, Resilience 30 and a very high maximum weight of 200,000 kg. It has a passive. At the same event, the Flying Dutchman also sold Dusekkar Rod and Jack-o-Blazer, so it was part of a small seasonal set.

The numbers tell you where it sits: Luck 96 is a mid-level finder, and a Lure Speed of 86 is above average. The 200,000 kg limit means it handles heavy fish with ease.

If you own it, it works as a heavy-fish rod and a keepsake of the event. If you do not, there is nothing to chase until the event returns, and nobody can say if it will. For now, a rod like Champions Rod, with Luck 130 and a 100,000 kg limit, is the practical alternative you can actually buy.
