The Candy Carrot is a candy-themed event crop, a sugared twist on the ordinary Carrot that anchors the bottom of Grow a Garden's progression. Its plain cousin is the cheapest renewable seed in the game, sold for almost nothing and harvested fast, and the Candy Carrot inherits that same low-stakes, high-frequency rhythm — small individual sell value, but quick turnaround that lets you replant constantly.

Because the base payout per carrot is tiny, profit comes from volume and mutations, not from any single pick. The real reason to grow it during its event window is to roll seasonal and rainbow modifiers on a crop that grows fast enough to cycle many attempts cheaply. A mutated Candy Carrot can sell for many times a plain one, and the low seed cost makes that gamble nearly free.

In progression terms this is an early-game and event-filler crop. It won't carry your economy the way a legendary or divine fruit does, but it's perfect for beginners learning the harvest loop, for keeping idle plots productive, and for cheaply farming mutation luck. Plant it in bulk, harvest often, and treat any high-tier mutation as a bonus rather than the plan.
