Harvest Melon carries a heavy list of seven tags (Fruit, Leafy, Night, Nutty, Root, Sour and Stalky) and the Divine rarity, and it comes from the third part of the Harvest Moon Event, added on August 15, 2026. A fruit that is also nutty, sour and tagged Night is a rare blend, even by the standards of this game.
What sets it apart is how you got it. The wiki says the seed could be obtained from Moon Crafting after the player had summoned 16 Harvest Moons. That is a progress goal, not a lucky drop: no percentage applies, only the effort of summoning the moons the required number of times. The wiki now marks the crop as not currently obtainable, so this route is closed for the moment.
Harvest Melon is multi-harvest, so any plant still in a garden continues to produce. For a Divine event crop that can no longer be obtained, holding on to it is the cautious choice, and the sell value of each harvest is multiplied by whatever mutations it picks up.
