Hollow Bamboo

The Hollow Bamboo is a limited crop introduced in the Smithing Event, and its four-way typing as Woody, Zen, Leafy and Stalky is the most economically meaningful thing about it. With no seed cost, sell price, or growth time recorded, you should value it less as a cash crop and more as a synergy magnet: four type tags mean four separate categories of buffs and quest requirements can all hit the same plant.

The Woody and Stalky tags are the standout pair. Stalky crops tend to be tall, multi-segment plants, and Woody/tree-class tools and pets reward exactly that kind of bulk — so any tool aimed at woody or stalky produce stacks cleanly here, while the Zen tag keeps it relevant to Zen-event modifiers. The page explicitly warns it is not the same as Bamboo, Lucky Bamboo, Bendboo or Boneboo, so check tags carefully before assigning pets, since those siblings carry different type profiles and payouts.

In progression terms, Hollow Bamboo is a situational event pickup rather than a core earner. Grow it when the Smithing or Zen modifiers are live and you want one plant that satisfies multiple type-targeted bonuses at once instead of chasing raw sell value.
