Quick Summary

The five new Fairy Event 2026 plants, Jellycap, Glimmervine, Prism Plume, Flutter Freesia and Royal Jelly Cup: rarity, type tags, how the wiki says you get them and the odds in the Fairy Chest.

The Fairy Event 2026 in Grow a Garden added five new plants: Jellycap, Glimmervine, Prism Plume, Flutter Freesia and Royal Jelly Cup. They run from uncommon all the way up to divine, and all of them are multi-harvest, which means one plant keeps giving fruit after you pick it. This guide goes through each one, says how the wiki says you get it, and works out the odds of actually landing the rare ones. It is based only on the community wiki pages for these crops and for the Fairy Chest. The pages are marked as stubs, several say "to be added" in the appearance section, and none of this comes from our own in-game testing, so check the wiki or the game if a detail matters to you.

All five have a date added of October 10, 2026 on the wiki, and every one of them is marked as multi-harvest.

Jellycap

The Jellycap is the common face of the event. It is an uncommon crop, and the wiki lists a 35 percent chance of getting its seed from a Fairy Chest, tied with the Wolpertinger pet for the most likely result. The wiki's category list tags it as a Candy, Fungus, Magical, Night and Sweet type plant. Those tags matter because many items in the game target plants by type: the wiki's Hollow Bamboo page, for example, says a crop is "affected by items targeted at those specific traits". So a plant with five type tags can be hit by more targeted items than a plant with one.

The appearance section of the Jellycap page still says "to be added", so we cannot describe how it looks without guessing. Because it is uncommon and the most likely seed to drop, it is an easy way to try out the multi-harvest behaviour of the event plants.

Glimmervine

Glimmervine is a legendary crop, and the wiki lists a 14.5 percent chance from the Fairy Chest, the same chance as the Redcap pet. Its type tags are Leafy, Magical, Night, Stalky and Woody. The page also carries a warning not to confuse it with the unreleased crop Glimmerpine, a different plant that is not in the game, so make sure you are looking for the right name when you search.

Prism Plume

The Prism Plume is the headline plant. It is a divine crop, and the wiki gives it a 0.5 percent chance in the Fairy Chest and in the Exotic Fairy Chest, and also lists the Rainbow Sack as a source. Its tags are Flower, Leafy, Magical, Stalky and Tropical. It is also the only one of the five whose appearance the wiki actually describes: four whitish leaves at the base, smaller pink leaves and pink vines along the stalk, a pink-and-blue gradient orb at the top held in place by petals, and a single multicolored wing growing on the back of the stalk as the produce. The wiki points out that the plant is not animated, unlike the similar Wispwing.

Flutter Freesia

Flutter Freesia is a mythical flower plant with Leafy, Magical and Stalky tags. It is not in the Fairy Chest. Instead, the wiki lists it as a reward from the Fairy Favors questline: tier 5, with a 5.41 percent chance. That means you have to finish the earlier stages first, and then get lucky with the choice of three rewards. Our Fairy Favors guide has the full reward table.

Royal Jelly Cup

Royal Jelly Cup is a mythical crop with Candy, Flower, Leafy, Magical, Stalky, Sweet and Woody tags, the longest tag list of the five. Here the wiki gets confusing. The page says the plant was added to the Fairy Event 2026, but its obtainment line says it can be obtained through the Golden Lily Flower Rush Rewards of the Bizzy Bee Event 2026. That is a different event page. We cannot tell whether that is a mistake or a true cross-event reward, so the honest answer is that we do not know yet and you should check the in-game shop and reward screens. The crop image on its page is also still a placeholder.

What are your odds in the Fairy Chest

The wiki's Fairy Chest list has six results that add up to exactly 100 percent: Jellycap Seed 35%, Wolpertinger 35%, Glimmervine Seed 14.5%, Redcap 14.5%, Prism Plume Seed 0.5% and Manticore 0.5%. Half of the results are seeds (35 plus 14.5 plus 0.5), and half are pets. Assuming each opening gives one result from that list, here is what the numbers mean. These are our calculations, not numbers from the wiki.

GoalIn 5 chestsIn 10 chestsIn 50 chestsIn 100 chests
At least one Glimmervine Seed (14.5%)54.3%79.1%99.96%nearly 100%
At least one Prism Plume Seed (0.5%)2.5%4.9%22.2%39.4%

You would need about 200 chests on average to expect one Prism Plume, and even after 200 chests there is still roughly a one in three chance you have not seen it (the chance of seeing at least one is about 63 percent). The practical lesson is that the Prism Plume is a lottery prize, so do not plan your event around getting it.

The Exotic Fairy Chest, sold in the Limited Time Shop according to the wiki, has the same six results plus a 1 percent Rainbow Exotic Fairy Chest entry. The wiki's percentages there add up to a little over 100, so treat the exact numbers with care.

Using the Enchanted Seed Pack too

Fairy Favors can also ask for plants that grow from an Enchanted Seed Pack, so it is worth knowing what is inside. According to the wiki the pack gives Sunbulb 40%, Glowthorn 25%, Lightshoot 20%, Briar Rose 10%, Spirit Flower 4.5% and Wispwing 0.5%. Sunbulb, Glowthorn and Lightshoot are the three plants the quest accepts even without the Glimmering mutation, so the most common results from the pack are exactly the plants the quest can use.

Which one should you chase

This is our own advice, based on the odds above.

  • Want something easy? Jellycap. It is the most likely seed and it is multi-harvest.
  • Want a strong mid-tier plant? Glimmervine. At 14.5 percent you have a good chance within ten chests.
  • Want a rare flower? Flutter Freesia, but only by pushing Fairy Favors to tier 5.
  • Want the best? Prism Plume, if you accept that the odds are low.
  • Royal Jelly Cup? Wait for the wiki to confirm how you get it before spending anything on it.

Why the type tags matter

The wiki's Wolpertinger page says its Forest Friend passive does more for every Magical plant in your garden, and all five new plants carry the Magical tag in the wiki's categories. A garden with several of them is the setup that passive seems to be written for, so the new seeds and the new pets are meant to be used together. Our fairy pets guide covers the Wolpertinger, Redcap and Manticore in detail.

What the wiki does not tell us yet

The pages for these plants are short. Four of the five still say "to be added" under appearance, none lists a sell price or a growth time, and none explains how strong the multi-harvest bonus is. We left those numbers out on purpose rather than guess. If you need them, open the plant in your Seed Shop or inventory in the game, and check the wiki again after the event, because the editors usually fill these pages in over the following days.
