Because it has no shop seed cost, you never "buy" it the way you buy a Carrot or Blueberry seed — its real price is the time and effort you spent grinding event currency, so the only honest profitability question is whether you got more value selling produce than you would have from spending that event grind elsewhere.

What makes it interesting is its dual Prickly and Sweet typing. That combination means it benefits from any tool or pet buff aimed at Prickly crops and anything that boosts Sweet produce, so it stacks two buff categories at once where most crops only catch one.

For mutations, treat it like any high-rarity event keeper: hold it for value-multiplying stacks such as Gold, Rainbow, and weather mutations like Wet or Chilled before you ever sell. A Legendary base value rewards multipliers far more than a common crop does. Grow this mid-to-late game, once you have mutation infrastructure, rather than dumping it for quick early Sheckles.
