Single-harvest means the plant is consumed when you pick it: you get exactly one payout per seed, so its profit is simply sell price minus seed cost, with no compounding across cycles.

Where Stonebite earns its keep is its typing. It is classified as Flower, Stalky and Prehistoric, and that Prehistoric tag is the real hook. During and after the Prehistoric Event, dino-themed pets and tools specifically boost Prehistoric crops, so a plant that is cheap and unremarkable on paper can punch above its rarity when paired with the right event gear.

In terms of progression, Stonebite is an early-to-mid filler rather than a core money-maker. Plant it in volume while Prehistoric buffs are active, harvest fast, and reinvest. Do not expect a single Stonebite to carry your economy; its strength is throughput and synergy with the event ecosystem, not raw per-fruit price. Once the event buffs fade, rotate to higher-tier multi-harvest crops.
