Geode Turtle

The Geode Turtle is a rare pet with an unusual acquisition history: it originally dropped at a 5.15% chance from digging at the Smithing Event, and it is currently obtainable in the Trader Event. That 5.15% is worth dwelling on, because it sits in the awkward middle zone, common enough that a patient digging session will eventually surface one, but rare enough that you cannot count on it from a handful of attempts. Plan for a grind of roughly twenty-plus digs on average before it shows.

For a farming build, the turtle archetype usually signals slow, steady, defensively-flavored passives rather than burst output, so the Geode Turtle reads as a consistency pet rather than a multiplier. If you are stacking reliable per-cycle bonuses across a stable team, it slots in cleanly; if you are chasing top-end harvest spikes, flashier rares will out-earn it.

The good news is current availability through the Trader Event, which removes the dig RNG entirely, you can simply acquire it through trading rather than gambling on geode dig luck. That makes now the smart window to grab one before it rotates out and the only route back is the original low-odds dig or an inflated player trade.
