That single fact changes its whole value proposition: there is no hatch RNG to fight, so if you had the event currency or merchant requirements during the window, acquisition was a clean, deterministic purchase rather than a coin-flip.

That merchant-bought origin makes the Red Panda one of the friendlier "rare-looking" pets to actually own, since you were never at the mercy of a low drop percentage. For a farming build it occupies the comfortable middle tier: a dependable companion pet whose value comes from its ability and seasonal flavor rather than from extreme scarcity.

Whether it deserves a serious slot depends entirely on its passive. Merchant pets are usually balanced as solid-but-not-broken, so the Red Panda is most at home filling out a themed Fall loadout or covering a steady support role while your top-tier divines handle peak output. Collectors will value it for the event tie-in; min-maxers should weigh its boost against whatever premium pet is competing for the same board space.
