The Woodpecker is a rare pet introduced in the second half of the Fall Market Event update, which places it firmly in the accessible-but-seasonal bracket. Rare-tier pets are the workhorses of Grow a Garden: common enough that a focused player can realistically obtain one, yet meaningful enough that they aren't pure filler. Because it shipped mid-event rather than as a launch headliner, the Woodpecker tends to be more available than a divine or limited-legendary trophy.

For a farming build, a rare pet's job is usually to provide a small, dependable passive that compounds over long sessions. This card doesn't pin the Woodpecker's exact effect, so judge it by its tier: rares rarely top a leaderboard farm on their own, but they make excellent early-to-mid game backbone, filling a slot while you save toward higher-rarity earners.

On a serious endgame team, the Woodpecker is more stepping stone than destination. Use it to stabilize your roster during the Fall Market grind, then graduate it to the bench once legendary and divine economy pets come online. For newer players, though, a clean rare like this is genuine progress, not a consolation prize.
