Locust Guy combos

  • Damage43.2

    M1 + Clever + 3 M1s + Crushing Jaws

Short combo that cannot be escaped; Clever only fully resets M1s when used after the first M1.

  • Damage89.2

    3 M1s + Fluttering Pounce + M1 (Fluttering Pounce cancel) + Uppercut + Clever + Crushing Jaws + Fluttering Pounce + 2 M1s Downslam (M1 early) + Wing Throw (aim up) + 3 M1s + Black Mucus

Cancelling Fluttering Pounce with an M1 repeats the third M1, an early M1 starts the air combo with the second, and a timed M1 after Wing Throw resets the string.

  • Damage152.2

    3 M1s Uppercut + Directed Poison + Wing Throw (aim up) + Clever + 3 M1s + Crushing Jaws

Directed Poison ragdolls long enough to lead into Wing Throw, which then extends Clever so the poison keeps running; no air combos are possible without an awakening.

Combos as the wiki's community lists them (move names in English, as in the game). We have not tested them.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Strong base moveset with good combo potential and mobility.
  • Very good evasive bait tools, safe from evasive punishes.
  • Directed Poison can almost guarantee a kill.
  • Its combos are among the easiest in the game.

Cons

  • It has no awakened moveset, only a single awakening attack.
  • Long cooldowns and endlag on miss or block push you to rely on M1s in neutral.
  • Directed Poison kills slowly, so targets can out-heal it with an awakening or a soda.

About Locust Guy

Free for every player since V1.49, Locust Guy adapts Ko-Guy from Jujutsu Kaisen into a base-only character: it has 90 HP and no awakened moveset, just one awakening attack.

The plan starts with Fluttering Pounce (16s), a 25 stud flight you can cancel with M1. Against a ragdolled airborne enemy within 80 studs it opens an air combo at a 6% awakening cost. From there the filler is Clever (14.2 if every hit lands, 15s), Crushing Jaws (16, 17s) and Wing Throw (8, 15s). Black Mucus (8, 17s) is the odd one out: it ragdolls at range and stacks a 15% cut to the target's damage for about 13 seconds.

The real payoff is Directed Poison. The sting has total i-frames, poisons for 90 damage over 10 seconds (9 per second) and heals you 25 HP when it lands, or refunds half the bar if it misses. The wiki's best string with it reaches 152.2.

The weak side is the pace: long cooldowns and endlag push you back to M1s in neutral, and since the poison kills gradually, a target can out-heal it with an awakening or a soda.
