Hotel guide
Hotel was the first map Zyleak made for Murder Mystery 2, a revamp of the Hotel from the original Murder Mystery. The wiki says it was among the most popular and most voted maps before its removal, and that a revamped counterpart replaced it in Season 1 (May 25, 2019).
Three floors
The map was large, with plenty of places for innocents to vanish. The first floor had a small lobby, a bar, a receptionist room and a restaurant with a kitchen and a freezer. The second floor was an open guest room. The third floor had another open guest room plus a cinema with a projector room.
The listed hiding spots follow those rooms: behind the reception door, in the first-floor kitchen (rarely checked) and its freezer, behind boxes on the first floor, behind the beds upstairs, in the second-floor storage closet, behind boxes in the projector room and under the first-floor fountain.
Which date to trust
The infobox and Timeline give May 2, 2015 as the release day, while the lead and the Hotel (MM1) page say only that it arrived in mid 2015. In the disguises-only days, avatars were randomly dressed as a suit-wearer, a casual character or a robe-wearer.
Trivia about Hotel
- The first map Zyleak made for MM2.
- A revamp of the Murder Mystery 1 Hotel; replaced by Hotel 2 in Season 1 (May 25th, 2019).
- While disguises was the only mode, players were randomly outfitted as a suit-wearer, a casual character or a robe-wearer.
