Lab 2 guide

Lab 2 has been in the story of Murder Mystery 2 since the debut on December 25, 2014, as the revamp of The Lab from Murder Mystery 1. It was replaced by nSOffice in the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019, and the wiki says nobody knows who built it.

The wiki counts it among the most disliked maps, for three reasons: dull visuals, confusing navigation, and none of the interactables its predecessor had. It was a regular-sized map with grey metallic walls and white floors, and nearly every room looked like the next one and sat behind a door. Small hallways made survival hard for innocents.

Rooms worth knowing

One storage room had many boxes to hide behind. A jail room was a dead end, with a sewer grate at the end of the cells that could not be entered. The server room is described as a poor hiding spot, though one server rack is still on the list. The other listed spots are behind crates in the first-floor rooms, in the jail cell room and in the remaining rooms.

Where it went next

The trivia says Lab 2 was later updated as Research Facility, but the Research Facility page says that map is based on Bio Lab and The Lab.
