nSOffice guide
nSOffice arrived in the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019, replacing Lab 2, and left on April 1, 2024, when the Easter Event 2024 launched. The wiki ties the removal to lag. It calls nSOffice the worst-optimized map in Murder Mystery 2, blames the lighting, doors and moving parts, and reports that Nikilis himself said the map needed optimizing. It also says there are plans that suggest a revamp with better optimization, though no date is given. Thexz is the listed creator.
The building has two floors. The ground floor holds a lobby with an indoor playground and obstacle course, a reception desk, offices, a meeting room and a cafeteria. The basement is a hard-drive storage area with a managing room. Automatic sliding doors, like the ones in The Lab, can slow you down and give away your position when you get close, and the wiki warns they misbehave on slow or old devices, so running through them while chased is a bad idea.
Hiding spots include the potted bushes of the playground, the tops of the wooden cubicles in the lobby, the trophy case behind reception, the tube in the greenscreen room, the pipes in the cafeteria (parkour needed) and the kitchen fridge. The ground-floor boxes can be pushed, so hiding behind them is discouraged. The voting image reads nStudio, and the Teddy Bear out-of-bounds glitches were patched in March 2020.
